Scott Thomas and the design team for the Barack Obama presidential campaign team has designed a book that features the art work of campaign supporters. Many of the artists weren't paid, they just were inspired by Obama's words. The book is on preorder for $50, they're trying to raise enough money for the first printing run. I can' wait to see this amazing collection to complete an amazing political process.

As new designers you may be discouraged about finding a job in this economy. Let me clue you in...
I have not met a person who has said it was ever easy getting a job in any economic climate. No matter what year you enter the job market, you need to work hard at presenting yourself and your work in the best light. Work hard, stay inspired, network, follow up and be gracious. Sooner or later someone is going to see the value in hiring this charismatic, inspiring young designer.
